ANF Cracks Down on Drug Smuggling, Seizes 197kg Narcotics Worth Rs. 1.44 Crore

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has continued its nationwide crackdown on drug smuggling, arresting five suspects and seizing 197 kilograms of narcotics worth over Rs. 1.44 crore in four operations conducted over the past 24 hours.
The ANF’s efforts led to several significant seizures, including:
Islamabad Airport Bust*: 49 heroin-filled capsules were recovered from a passenger bound for Saudi Arabia.
Rawalpindi Raid*: 32 grams of weed were seized from a parcel sent from the UK. Quetta Operation*: 20 kilograms of charas were recovered from a vehicle, with four suspects arrested.
– *Pishin Raid*: 176.4 kilograms of charas were seized from a house in the Sranan area.

The ANF has registered cases against the arrested suspects under the Anti-Narcotics Act and initiated investigations. This ongoing crackdown aims to curb the spread of narcotics and ensure a safer Pakistan.
