Peshawar, Nov. 28, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, met with a delegation from the UK-based Sea Trade Business Forum at the Governor’s House. The delegation, led by Chairman Muhammad Farooq Khan, briefed the Governor on the forum’s services to promote Pakistani products and businesses in the UK and other countries.
The delegation highlighted that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s exports are negligible compared to Punjab and Sindh. They expressed their desire to play a role in promoting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s businesses in the UK and European countries. Governor Kundi emphasized the need for serious efforts to introduce Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s businesses to the global market.
The Governor also stressed the importance of facilitating the development of the tourism sector in the province. Unfortunately, the poor law and order situation has severely impacted the province’s industry and business, said Governor Kundi.
