Balochistan High Court Directs Chief Secretary to Review Quetta Development Package

Quetta, Nov. 28: A two-member bench of the Balochistan High Court, comprising Justice Muhammad Kamran Khan Mulakhail and Justice Shaukat Ali Rakhshani, heard a constitutional petition filed by Advocate Syed Nazir Agha regarding the expansion of Zarghoon Road under the Quetta Development Package Phase II.

The bench directed the Chief Secretary of Balochistan to review the matter and ordered him to summon the provincial heads of federal government departments, including QESCO/WAPDA, SSGC, PTCL, and Pakistan Railways. In case of non-cooperation, the bench instructed the Chief Secretary to inform the administrative secretaries at the federal level to resolve the issue.

The Chief Secretary was also directed to coordinate with the relevant authorities from the P&D, Finance, and Senior Member Board of Revenue departments.
