Service delivery system not satisfactory  despite posting of 250,000 “babus” in  Balochistan, says Chief Minister

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has directed to the concerned authorities to complete the process of recruitments in the health department. He warned that stern action would be taken against those making recruitments or those being appointed against the merit.

He regretfully pointed out that some 250,000 government babus (clerks) are posted in the province, but the system of service delivery is not satisfactory.

He said that the hurdles in the affairs of public interest are intolerable at all under the garb of protest. He said that those have reservations on the reforms in the health sector may come and talk to us as our doors are open for them.

The Chief Minister was chairing a review meeting about performance of the Health department here at the CM’s secretariat on Tuesday.

Those who were in attendance were included the Provincial Minister for Health, Bakht Muhammad Kakar, Chief Secretary, Shakeel Qadir Khan, Secretary Health, Mujeebur Rehman, Director General Health Services, Dr. Amin Khan Mandokhail.

The Chief Minister asserted that the results of comprehensive reforms should be seen on ground.

He said that 80 percent issues of people would be resolved with solution of the health and education related problems.

He stressed that the common men must benefit from the resources allocated for health sector. He on the occasion warned that stern action would be taken against those creating hurdles in way of reforms in the province.
