Army Deployed in Islamabad to Address Protest Chaos.

Islamabad – Security sources report that the army has been devployed in Islamabad to manage the unrest during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest, following a notification issued by the Ministry of Interior.

According to security sources, the Pakistan Army has been called in under Article 245, with a clear mandate to take strict action against those who break the law.

The notification also grants the Army the authority to impose a curfew in any area to maintain law and order.

Security agencies have been instructed to take decisive action against individuals engaging in violent activities.

During the PTI protest in Islamabad, miscreants rammed a vehicle into Rangers officials on Srinagar Highway, resulting in the martyrdom of four Rangers officers, while five Rangers and two policemen were seriously injured.

Security sources have reported that four Rangers officers and two policemen have been killed in attacks on law enforcement personnel, while over 100 police officers have been injured, many with serious wounds.
