Balochistan CM Vows to Tackle Anti-State Activities in Universities

Quetta, Nov. 25, Balochistan Chief Minister, Mir Safaraz Bugti, has expressed concerns over organized groups involved in anti-state activities in universities across the country, including Balochistan. Bugti emphasized the need for a national conference to address the situation.

During a meeting with the Chairman of the Higher Education Commission, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Bugti discussed the improvement of governance and quality in Balochistan’s universities. The Chief Minister requested the HEC to propose improvements to the Balochistan Universities Act.

The HEC Chairman assured Bugti that the commission would review the proposed draft and provide comprehensive recommendations within two weeks. Provincial ministers, secretaries, and relevant officials attended the meeting.
