15-Year-Old Girl Rescued in Hyderabad Through Timely Action by Women Welfare Department and Police

Hyderabad ( ) Incharge Women Complaint Cell Hyderabad, Nasreen Palijo issued a statement regarding the recovery of a 15-year old girl reported missing on November 20. According to the complaint filed by M.S., a resident of Hyderabad, his underage daughter was allegedly lured away from their home by an influential individual. The family, hesitant to approach the police due to their respectable social standing, sought assistance from the Complaint Cell to recover their daughter.

Upon receiving the complaint, Nasreen Palijo promptly informed Provincial Minister for Women Welfare, Madam Shahina Sher Ali, and contacted the SSP Hyderabad. Following the minister’s special intervention and swift action by the police, the missing girl was safely returned to her family.

The girl’s family expressed gratitude to Minister Shahina Sher Ali, Nasreen Palijo, and the police for their timely efforts. Speaking on the occasion, Minister Shahina Sher Ali reiterated the Sindh government’s commitment to protecting women’s rights and resolving their issues. She encouraged women from urban and rural areas facing challenges to reach out to the designated complaint centers or the 24-hour helpline without fear.

Nasreen Palijo emphasized that the Sindh government is dedicated to safeguarding women but noted that many women hesitate to exercise their legal rights due to fear or lack of awareness. She assured them of full legal support, guidance, and protection, urging them not to tolerate injustices or exploitation.

This successful intervention highlights the Sindh government’s proactive approach to ensuring the safety and rights of women across the province.
