Crackdown on Narcotics in Tando Adam, Four Arrested in Police Operations

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Task Force, established under the directives of the Inspector General of Police Sindh, successfully conducted operations in Tando Adam, resulting in the arrest of four individuals and the seizure of illegal substances.

Under the guidance of Task Force In-charge DSP Dr. Muhammad Moosa Abro, SHO City Tando Adam Niaz Hussain Kalhoro acted on a tip-off and apprehended two suspects, Saifullah son of Azizullah Brohi and Mir Hamza son of Faiz Muhammad Brohi. During the raid, police seized a vehicle (registration number BL6659) containing 34 cartons of Royal King Gutka, with each carton holding 50 packets, totaling 187,000 sachets. Additionally, Rs. 1,000 in cash was recovered. An FIR (No. 419/2024) was registered against the suspects under the Gutka and Mainpuri Act (Section 8-5).

In a separate operation, SHO B Section Tando Adam Salamuddin Solangi conducted a patrol-based raid and arrested two suspects, Mehrab Khaskheli and Baaloo Kolhi, for possessing 10 liters of homemade liquor each. Another suspect, Shafi Muhammad Lorer, managed to escape, leaving behind 10 liters of liquor. The police seized the recovered liquor and a rickshaw used in the crime. An FIR (No. 128/2024) was lodged under the PEHO Act (Section 3/4) against the arrested and absconding suspects.

Efforts are underway to apprehend the absconding suspect. The crackdown highlights the commitment of the Sindh police to eradicate narcotics and illegal activities in the region. Authorities urge citizens to support law enforcement in creating a drug-free society.
