The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) demonstrated exceptional professionalism and dedication during a critical incident near Pindi Bhattian. A passenger bus (CAG-599), travelling from Faisalabad to Mardan with 22 passengers, including staff, caught fire due to a short circuit. Acting swiftly, DSP Syed Hasnat Ali, Inspector Allah Bakhsh, and their team reached the site immediately, utilizing modern equipment to control the fire and safely evacuate all passengers.
Inspector General Salman Chaudhry commended the officers for their professionalism and dedication to duty, emphasizing the importance of assisting citizens travelling on National Highways without discrimination. He urged them to continue delivering timely help with the same spirit and commitment, fostering trust and safety for all road users.
