QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has stated that our lawyers are the guardians and servants of law and democracy. He said that we hold the invaluable services and sacrifices of all lawyers including the martyrs of 8th August in high esteem. Nevertheless, the democratic behaviours would be promoted through lawyers in the society.
The Governor was addressing the ceremony arranged at the Balochistan High Court here on Monday.
Also present on the occasion were the President Supreme Court Bar Association, Rauf Ata, newly elected President of Balochistan High Court Bar Association, Mir Attaullah Langove, Additional Attorney General of Pakistan, Najam Mengal, President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Lawyers Wing, Anwar Nasim Kasi, besides other senior lawyers.
Addressing the gathering, Governor said that the role of lawyers based on their cooperation is very important for strengthening the rule of law.
The Governor emphasized upon the importance of role based on the cooperation of lawyers community.
The Governor on the occasion assured his cooperation to resolve the issues being faced by the lawyers and said that the doors of Governor House are always open for them.
