Islamabad Police Crack Down on Crime: Kidnapper and Thief Arrested, Goods Worth 8.5 Million Recovered

Islamabad Police have made a significant breakthrough in their efforts to curb crime in the city. In a recent operation, the Lohi Bher police station arrested a suspect involved in kidnapping and theft.¹ The police recovered valuable items worth 8.5 million rupees, including local and foreign currency, gold jewelry, and prize bonds.
Additionally, Islamabad’s Industrial Area police conducted a grand search and combing operation in various areas under the supervision of SP Zone President Khan Zeb. The operation involved a large police contingent, lady police officers, and FC personnel. Before the operation, police personnel were briefed on the objectives.
During the search operation:
27 suspicious individuals were checked
– 500 households, shops, inns, hotels, and motels were searched
– 15 motorcycles and 41 vehicles were inspected
– Two pistols were recovered
– Five motorcycles were shifted to the police station
The purpose of this operation is to eliminate crime from the area. Islamabad’s IG has ordered grand search operations across the district to root out crime. Citizens are urged to cooperate with police during checking and report any suspicious activities.
In another development, Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 14 outlaws, including two wanted members of a notorious snatcher gang, and recovered a significant cache of drugs, weapons, and stolen goods.² These efforts demonstrate Islamabad Police’s commitment to ensuring public safety and combating crime.
