Provincial Minister Health displeased  with absence of doctors, medical staff  at DHQ Killa Saifullah; orders action

QUETTA: The Provincial Minister for Health, Bakht Muhammad Kakar has expressed displeasure over absence of doctors and other medical staff and poor cleanliness situation at the District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ), Killa Saifullah.

The Minister Health was on surprise visit to the DHQ Hospital Killa Saifullah on Friday.

During the visit, he found some 16 doctors and other health staff absent from their duties in the hospital. Of them, seven doctors were absent for long time, as informed to the Provincial Minister.

While the Minister ordered to the concerned authority to dismiss the doctors, who were absent from their duties for long time, he ordered for placing services of other nine absentee doctors under suspension.

Bakht Kakar expressing his displeasure over poor cleanliness situation in the hospital directed to Medical Superintendent to improve its state of affairs within a week.

Meanwhile, he went round of different sections of the hospital and met the patients there. The patients complained to the Minister Health about poor health services at the hospital.
