NAB holds Inter-University competitions annually as part of NAB’s commitment to raise awareness and promote prevention strategies against corruption

Quetta November 14, 2024: NAB holds Inter-University competitions annually as part of NAB’s commitment to raise awareness and promote prevention strategies against corruption. In line with the Chairman NAB’s directives, such initiatives form an essential component of NAB’s annual plan for awareness and prevention activities, emphasizing its role in combating corruption.
In this regard the NAB (Balochistan) recently invited various universities of Balochistan to take part in an inter-university competition held in different categories. The students from various universities participated in competitions of Short Film, Declamation, and Essay writing (English & Urdu), Poster & Calligraphy. The universities were pooled in two groups. The competitions were held in Gwadar on 07th Nov, 2024 amongst students of universities of Mekran division whereas students of Quetta and its peripheries gathered in Al-Hamd University and SBK Women University for competing in above mentioned categories during 11-13 November, 2024. The hosting universities extended their full cooperation to facilitate these competitions.
The winners of these competitions were announced by the esteemed judges/ evaluators in a closing ceremony held at Al-Hamd University after the conclusion of the events. The objective behind these competitions was to engage university students and encourage them to actively participate in the fight against corruption. Through their work it has been reminded to the audience of the importance of honesty in personal and professional lives. The creativity and thoughtfulness highlighted the potential of our youth to bring about positive change.
NAB remains steadfast in its efforts to reduce corruption and promote accountability across the nation.
