Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi Meets with PPP Minority Wing Delegation

Governor Faisal Karim Kundi met with a 15-member delegation from the Pakistan People’s Party’s minority wing, led by Elle Sadique, at the Governor House in Peshawar. The meeting aimed to discuss religious harmony and minority rights in the province.

The delegation requested the governor to host a Christmas ceremony at the Governor House next month. They also presented various demands, including:

– *Resolution of Load-Shedding Issues*: Immediate action to address the severe load-shedding in Tehkal Feeder.
– *Funding for Cremation Ground*: Allocation of funds for the development of a cremation ground.
– *Increased Job Quota*: Enhancement of job quota for minority communities.
– *Scholarships*: Provision of scholarships for minority students.

Governor Kundi assured the delegation that he would discuss the load-shedding issue with WAPDA authorities and emphasized the need for public cooperation in reducing power theft.¹
