District Returning Officer/Deputy Commissioner Ghotki Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali reached Union Council Kamoon Shaheed and visited various polling stations and reviewed the arrangements for the by-elections to be held today.
According to the details, District Returning Officer/Deputy Commissioner Ghotki Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali along with District Election Commissioner Parvez Ahmed Kalhoro, RO/Assistant Commissioner Ubauro Sahieb Ahmed After reaching Council Kamoon Shaheed, he visited various polling stations and reviewed the arrangements regarding the supplementary responses of Union Council Kamoon Shaheed. On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that all the arrangements for the local Government by-elections have been completed, necessary equipment including ballot paper has been sent to all 10 polling stations of the Union Council, to maintain law and order during the elections. Strict security measures have been ensured so that people can exercise their right to vote without any difficulty. He further said that all the polling stations will be monitored by CCTV cameras. It should be noted that there is a by-election for chairman in Union Council Kamoon Shaheed on Thursday in which 7 candidates are participating.
