Sanghar District Police Crackdown: 12 Drug Dealers Arrested, Large Quantity of Drugs and Alcohol Seized
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Sanghar District Police have conducted a major crackdown on drug trafficking, resulting in the arrest of 12 individuals. During these operations, authorities seized 8 kilograms of marijuana, hundreds of harmful gutka packets, and 110 liters of alcohol.
According to details, SHO Shahdadpur Inayatullah Jamali apprehended a major dealer, Lal Bux Chandio, recovering 3 kilograms of hashish from his possession. In a separate operation, CIA Sanghar in-charge Akbar Mari, alongside SHO Chotiyarioon Ghulam Muhammad, seized 2,950 grams of hashish from dealer Zakir, alias Dado Kaloi.
Additionally, SHO Tando Adam Niaz Hussain arrested Abdul Raheem Shaikh, confiscating 2,015 grams of hashish and a motorcycle allegedly used for drug smuggling. Police from other stations in the district, including Nawabad, Sanghar, and Piromal, detained dealers Tara Chand, Habib Pathan, and Waryam Khasakheli, seizing 110 liters of alcohol.
Moreover, SHO Khai Manir Ahmed registered a case against a suspect, Haji Bhio, for causing damage to public roads using a tractor.
This series of successful operations reflects Sanghar District Police’s commitment to eradicating drug trafficking and promoting community safety.
