LARKANA : A seminar hold in Larkana by Trade Development Authority (TDA) Government of Pakistan with the support of Agriculture Extension Department Government of Sindh to solve the problems in the supply of rice, improve the quality of rice to reduce losses and export rice in the country and abroad through modern methods. A seminar was organized in the officers’ club of the city to inform about the increase the quality of rice . The Trade Development Authority and Agriculture Department officers of the Rice Research Institute of Dokri and more than 100 farmers and farmers from Larkana district participated in the seminar. After reciting the Holy Quran, Trade Development Authority and Agriculture Department officers and agronomists urged the farmers and farmers to protect the rice crop from pests by storing it in a safe manner to increase the production of rice as well as domestic and foreign. Access to the market can be improved, while addressing the seminar, they further said that rice is one of the most important export names of Pakistan, even after harvesting, the crop faces many challenges which are the challenges of rice. Affecting the quality, production and profitability, the objective of this seminar is to provide a platform to solve these challenges, which can help the farmers and farmers to get information to improve the rice crop.
