Anti-Narcotics Force Continues Crackdown on Drug Peddling and S mug 6thgling

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has arrested 11 suspects and seized over 63.83 kilograms of narcotics worth more than Rs. 1.5 crore in 13 operations across Pakistan.

*Operations in Educational Institutions:*

– Multan: 500 grams of ice recovered near a university.
– Faisalabad: 500 grams of charas seized on Jhang Road.
– Sialkot: 300 grams of charas and 100 grams of ice recovered near a university. The arrested suspect confessed to selling drugs to students.

*Other ANF Operations:*

– Islamabad Airport: 360 grams of heroin seized from a passenger bound for Bahrain.
– Lahore: 1.53 kilograms of charas found in a parcel destined for Australia at a courier office.
– Karachi: 240 grams of heroin seized in a parcel bound for Bahrain at a courier office.
– Chagai: 47 kilograms of opium recovered.
– Jamshoro: 5 kilograms of ice seized from two suspects on Super Highway.
– Sheikhupura Road: 2.4 kilograms of opium and 3.6 kilograms of charas recovered from a suspect.
– Shah Faisal Road, Karachi: ongoing operation.

The ANF remains committed to eliminating drug trafficking and peddling in Pakistan.
