Quetta, November 2, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders Sanjay Kumar, Parliamentary Secretary for Minority Affairs, Syed Iqbal Shah, and Sardar Sarbland Jogezai reaffirmed the party’s commitment to protecting minority rights. They credited PPP for ensuring equal rights for minorities in the 1973 Constitution ¹.
Speaking at a Diwali event in Quetta, the leaders emphasized PPP’s struggle for minority rights. They noted that Pakistan’s Constitution guarantees equal rights to all citizens, regardless of faith. Diwali’s message of distinguishing good from evil resonated with the party’s vision.
Prominent attendees included Malik Zeeshan Hussain, Rabani Khilji, Nadeem Khan, and others. The leaders praised PPP’s efforts to safeguard minority interests and ensure their active participation in Pakistan’s social and political fabric.
