Surge in cases of polio in Balochistan continues as another child reported with crippling disease from Chaghai

QUETTA: Another polio case has been reported from Balochistan increasing tally of cases of crippling disease to 22.
The Emergency Operation Center for polio eradication sources said that the new polio case has been reported from Chaghai, which is the first one of the district during the current year.
The sources said that the polio virus has been detected in a child belonging to Chaghai.
It may be mentioned here that in all 21 cases of polio had already been reported in the province during current year.
Out of the total polio cases, six were reported from Killa Abdullah and three from Quetta district.
