Makran Division, Dawood Khan Khalji, chaired a meeting to discuss public health issues, particularly the launch of a free ambulance service for the underprivileged in District Kech ¹. The service, set to begin within weeks, will utilize 20 ambulance vehicles to transport emergency patients from Turbat to Karachi. This initiative builds upon the existing free ambulance service in District Gwadar, with plans to expand to District Panjgur in the next phase.
Free Ambulance Service_: 20 ambulance vehicles will be dedicated to transporting emergency patients from District Kech to Karachi.
– _Expansion Plans_: The service will be extended to District Panjgur in the next phase.
– _Previous Arrangements_: Patients from District Kech were previously provided limited-fee ambulance services by the Government of Balochistan; however, this new initiative offers the service completely free of charge.

This development aims to enhance healthcare accessibility for the economically disadvantaged in the region.
