In all 65 chronic absentee teachers dismissed in Pishin; CM pledges to reopen all closed schools

QUETTA: In all 65 chronic absentee teachers have been dismissed from the government service in Pishin district.
According to an official notification issued here by the District Education Officer Pishin and Chairman District Education Authority, all the teachers dismissed from service were found chronic absentee since long, but were drawing salaries.
As per the notification, the absentee teachers were also issued notices and provided opportunity of personal hearing, but they were failed and found guilty of misconduct.
Moreover, the Chief Minister has also issued orders to dismiss 800 absentee teachers.
The dismissal of absentee teachers would be made after fulfilling all necessary legal requirements for dismissal.
Meanwhile, in a tweet on his social media account, the Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has stated that 65 chronic absences teachers have been dismissed while continuing the process of reforms in the province.
The Chief Minister said that we are determined to reopen every closed school and ensure attendance of 100 percent children in the schools.
