Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hyderabad, Zain-ul-Abideen Memon, has launched a crackdown against illegal LPG filling stations
Hyderabad (Qayoom Sarohi) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Hyderabad, Zain-ul-Abideen Memon, has launched a crackdown against illegal LPG filling stations operating in residential areas. This action follows a recent gas cylinder explosion in the Preetabad area, prompting the DC to take strict measures against such stations.
Yesterday, on the instructions of the DC, the administration sealed an illegal LPG filling station located in the residential apartment Sachal Central of Qasimabad. The station’s owner was taken into custody and warned that any future violations of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) would result in further legal action. The sealed station had been operating for a long time within a residential apartment, posing a significant risk of life and property damage.
DC Zain-ul-Abideen Memon emphasized that these measures aim to prevent future accidents and ensure safety standards in residential areas. Several illegal gas cylinder filling stations have already been sealed as part of the ongoing campaign.
