Chief Minister inaugurates three major projects under Public-Private Partnership in Quetta

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti inaugurated three major projects under Public-Private Partnership in Quetta on Thursday.
The historic projects inaugurated by the Chief Minister are included: Mountain View Tech Park Marriabad, Circular Road Integrated Parking Plaza in Quetta and LPG Technical Laboratory Taftan.
The first Information Technology Park has been established in a building built 15 years ago in Marriabad.
Speaking on occasion of the inauguration here on Thursday, the Chief Minister announced that 1,000 youngsters would be able to earn livelihood after making them skilled in next six months in the Mountain View Tech Park.
He said that there are several such buildings in the province which have been left after construction. This IT park has been established in the building which was constructed 15 years ago.
The Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan gave proposal of the IT Park, and thus the provincial government released funds acting on it and it is going to be functional today.
He mentioned that there would be 67 offices in the IT Park and this project would introduce different skills to youth in the IT sector.
Ultimately, the opportunities of livelihood would increase in future, he maintained.
The Chief Minister said that the government can’t provide employment to every youngster, however, we would provide the opportunities of respectable livelihood to youth.
For the purpose, IT parks would be established in all divisional headquarters of the province.
He said that the fruits of development would reach to the masses of the province through these initiatives taken by the provincial government.
Meanwhile, while addressing the inauguration of Circular road Integrated parking plaza and ceremony of signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for establishment of the LPG Technical Laboratory, the Chief Minister noted with pleasure that by the grace of Allah Almighty, three major projects have been launched under Public-Private Partnership in six months fulfilling commitment made with the people by the national and party leadership.
He said that Alhamdulillah, the dreams of public service are going to be materialized today.
He also said that the process of provision of the facilities to the people has been started under Public Private Partnership in the province.
He said that we are encouraging public private partnership in different sectors so as to ensure better service delivery to the people, he added.
The Chief Minister highly appreciated the Chief Secretary Balochistan, Shakeel Qadir Khan, Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development, Hafiz Abdul Basit, Commissioner Quetta, Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat and the whole team who completed the vision of provincial government speedily.
He said that the mafias present in different sectors create hurdles in provision of the facilities. However, we would continue our mission while removing all such hurdles, adding he pledged.
He said that we are ready for talks with different unions, but we would not be blackmailed by strikes, and would eliminate mafias. Besides, we would also not let anyone to create hurdles in the public facilities. He also asserted that no hurdle would be tolerated in the projects of public welfare whatsoever.
He also announced that the project of beautification of Quetta airport to Zarghoon road would be completed within six months.
He on the occasion directed to clean and organize the roads of Quetta city besides removing all encroachments from the roads.
Earlier, the Commissioner Quetta briefed about the project saying that the projects are being prepared for developing Quetta as developed city under Public Private Partnership. He said that the circular road integrated parking plaza would be ranked in most modern parking plazas of the world.
