KARACHI: Acting Governor Sindh and Speaker Sindh Assembly, Syed Awais Qadir Shah received Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi with a warm welcome here on Wednesday.
Speaker SA Syed Awais Qadir Shah on assuming the office of acting Governor Sindh for the first time.
Acting Governor Sindh held a meeting with KP Governor on the occasion and discussed various matters of mutual interest between the two provinces.
A detailed discussion was held on the law and order situation in both provinces. Important talks were also held to promote cultural exchange between the two regions as well tourism on both sides.
Provincial Governors exchanged best wishes for each other and the good relationship between people of both provinces over the common interests.
Meanwhile, Syed Awais Qadir Shah, Acting Governor and Speaker of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, expressed his heartfelt condolences to Miss Rana Ansar, Member of the National Assembly (MQM), on the tragic passing of her son, Syed Shahzaib Shah, due to a traffic accident in Karachi.
In his message, Syed Awais Qadir Shah stated, “The loss of a child is an indescribable grief, and my thoughts and prayers are with Miss Rana Ansar and her family in this moment of immense sorrow. May Allah give them the strength to endure this loss and grant eternal peace to the departed soul.”
Miss Rana Ansar previously served as the Opposition Leader in the Provincial Assembly of Sindh.
