Deputy Commissioner Sohbatpur, Farida Train, made an unannounced visit to the District Headquarters Hospital, where she found doctors absent from their duties. The Medical Superintendent was seen attending to patients himself, highlighting the shortage of medical staff ¹.

During her visit, Train reviewed the attendance register of doctors and paramedical staff and inspected various departments of the hospital. The Medical Superintendent informed her that the shortage of doctors and paramedical staff was causing difficulties for the public. The new building’s transfer process has also not been completed, and the hospital faces HR shortages.

Train vowed to address these issues through temporary appointments and strict action against absent doctors. She emphasized that doctors and paramedical staff must utilize their skills to provide the best medical facilities to the people.
