GDA Installs Information Boards, Dustbins, and Speed Breakers at Tourist Spots

Gilgit, Oct. 21, – The Gilgit Development Authority (GDA) has taken initiatives to beautify and promote tourist sites in the region.

Following Director General Abbas Ali Khan’s directives, GDA, in collaboration with local government and district administration, has:

1. Installed information boards and dustbins at various tourist spots.
2. Set up speed breakers to prevent road accidents.
3. Commenced survey and feasibility studies for Babaniltr site selection and Nalter village water scheme.

These measures aim to restore Nalter’s beauty and provide tourists with essential information.

Director General Abbas Ali Khan stated, “GDA is actively working to promote and beautify our tourist destinations.”

He appealed to the public to take special care of installed facilities and maintain cleanliness at tourist spots.

This initiative is part of the Gilgit-Baltistan government’s efforts to enhance the region’s beauty and promote tourism.
