Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chairs Special Senate Meeting on Gomal University Inquiry Report

The 28-page report, prepared by the Governor’s Inspection Team, probed allegations of fake degree issuance, financial irregularities, misuse of authority, and unfair promotions ¹.

During the meeting, the inquiry report’s findings and recommendations were thoroughly discussed. The report dismissed several complaints as baseless, while noting that some allegations are still under investigation by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) ¹.

Governor Kundi emphasized that maintaining financial and administrative discipline in universities is non-negotiable, particularly in today’s era of advanced technology where fake degrees can easily be identified ¹.
