ANF Cracks Down on Drug Peddling Near Educational Institutions

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has launched a nationwide crackdown on drug trafficking and peddling near educational institutions, arresting seven suspects in 13 operations.

The operations resulted in the seizure of 86.92 kilograms of narcotics worth over 1.5 crore rupees. Notable seizures include:

– 2.4 kilograms of charas in Baldia Town, Karachi
– 1.2 kilograms of charas near a university in Islamabad
– 60 kilograms of charas in Kuchlak, Quetta
– 14 kilograms of ice near RCD Road, Hub
– 662 grams of weed in parcels sent from abroad to Rawalpindi
– 44 heroin-filled capsules from a passenger at Islamabad Airport
– 940 grams of ice in a parcel bound for Bahrain from Sialkot

The arrested suspects confessed to selling drugs to students. The ANF has prioritized making educational institutions drug-free.
