Karachi, Oct 20,
Pakistanis are struggling to cope with the escalating gas crisis, which has exacerbated their already dire situation. The gas company’s decision to follow in K-Electric’s footsteps has further compounded the issue, according to Allama Bilal Saleem Qadri, Central Secretary-General of the Pakistan Sunni Movement [1).
Qadri emphasized that the surge in gas prices and unannounced suspensions have become another tool to torment the public. The people, already overwhelmed by problems, are becoming increasingly desperate due to the gas suspension.
Challenges Faced by the Public*
Inflation and Unemployment_: The twin challenges have pushed the public to the brink, making it difficult for them to make ends meet.
– Lack of Basic Amenities: The government’s inaction in providing essential services has worsened the situation.
– Unaffordable Utility Bills: Many citizens struggle to pay their gas and electricity bills.
The Pakistan Sunni Movement has urged the government to take immediate action to address these issues and provide relief to the struggling populace.
