The Shikarpur Bachao Movement organized a peaceful protest camp at Lakidar Ghar Chowk today, condemning the rising lawlessness and kidnapping of innocent children in the city.
The protest camp, held from 5 pm, was attended by movement chairman Allahi Bakhsh Sheikh, Abdul Wahab Kagzi, Sahibzada Hafiz Fazalullah Noorani, Abdul Ghaffar Dayo, Ali Asghar Phor, Afzal Hussain Mugha, Ehsan Ahmed Jeeho, Alama Maulana Abdul Fattah Mehr, and Alama Mushtaq Ahmed Sehendro.
– Large numbers of citizens and relatives of kidnapped children participated.
Protesters highlighted the case of 12-year-old Asma, daughter of Ehsan Ali Rahiri, who was allegedly raped in Lakidar police limits.
– They demanded immediate arrest and severe punishment for the four suspects involved.
– The protesters expressed disappointment at the lack of action.
The Shikarpur Bachao Movement vows to continue its peaceful protests until justice is served.
