The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan’s parliamentary committee held a joint session in Islamabad, chaired by Chairman and Parliamentary Leader Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui ¹. Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar briefed the MQM leadership on the draft clauses during the session.
Senior leaders, including Dr. Farooq Sattar, Syed Aminul Haq, Faisal Subzwari, and Khawaja Azharul Hassan, along with other members of the Senate and National Assembly, attended the meeting ¹.
Regarding constitutional amendments, the MQM will make decisions after mutual consultation following the briefing ¹. This development comes as part of the party’s ongoing efforts to address key issues and forge a unified stance on critical national matters.
