ANF CRACKS DOWN ON DRUG PEDDLING NEAR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has launched a nationwide crackdown on drug peddling and smuggling around educational institutions. In a series of 5 operations, 5 suspects were arrested and 14.470 kg of narcotics worth over Rs. 4.7 million were seized.

Operations were conducted in Haripur, Quetta, Multan, Islamabad, and Dera Ismail Khan. The seized narcotics include charas and ice. The arrested suspects confessed to selling drugs to students.

Cases have been registered against the suspects under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations are underway. This crackdown aims to protect the youth from the scourge of drugs.
