CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif Becomes Voice of Differently-Abled Person, Gives Appointment Letter to Sketch Artist Muhammad Azeem

Lahore, 18 October, 2024: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif became the voice of an artist without arms and legs, handed over appointment letter to sketch artist Muhammad Azeem. Muhammad Azeem will perform the duties of a teacher at the Al Hamra Academy of Performing and Visual Art.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif had promised to give employment to differently-abled person Muhammad Azeem during ‘Himmat Card’ ceremony. Muhammad Azeem is an expert in pencil sketching. On the direction of CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif, an electric wheelchair has been provided to Muhammad Azeem.

The Chief Minister also directed construction of a road to Muhammad Azeem’s house. Differently-abled sketch artist Muhammad Azeem expressed his desire to meet President PML-N Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

CM Punjab said,“Despite being a differently-abled person, Muhammad Azeem’s courage and determination is commendable.” She got displayed a picture being sketched by Muhammad Azeem in her office. She added, “Muhammad Azeem did not let his disability hinder his sense of achievement but rather surprised people by dint of his artistic abilities.”

Differently-abled sketch artist Muhammad Azeem said,“I would always remember the love and affection as shown by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif made a promise and fulfilled it. I am heartily grateful to her.” Muhammad Saleem Akhtar, father of differently-abled person Muhammad Azeem, also expressed profound gratitude to CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
