Collaboration between public & private sector institutions, NGOs & civil society crucial to achieve SDGs, emphasizes Rubaba

QUETTA: The Advisor to the Chief Minister for Women Development, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi has emphasized the crucial importance of coordinated collaboration between public and private sector institutions, NGOs, and civil society to achieve sustainable development goals. She expressed these views during a consultation session held at the National Institute of Management (NIM) Quetta.
Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi stated that sustainable development in Balochistan can only be achieved through a joint strategy involving all stakeholders. She further highlighted the need to focus specifically on education, healthcare, and women’s economic empowerment for the province’s sustainable progress. By providing better opportunities in the health and education sectors, especially in remote areas, not only will societal well-being improve, but women will also have the chance to advance.
Dr.Rubaba Khan Buledi acknowledged the role of international organizations like UNDP as key partners in Balochistan’s development journey. With their technical and financial support, projects can be developed that deliver sustainable and long-term outcomes.
Highlighting the importance of women in society, Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi stressed that without the inclusion of women, the dream of development is incomplete. Therefore, women’s education and economic empowerment should be top priorities. She expressed optimism that this stakeholder consultation would lead to the creation of a comprehensive and robust strategy for the next four years, further strengthening the welfare of the people of Balochistan.
