RDF HOSTS CLIMATE CHANGE SEMINAR IN SANGHAR

The Research and Development Foundation (RDF) organized a one-day seminar in Sanghar to raise awareness about climate change’s devastating impacts and promote eco-friendly practices.

Renowned experts, including environmental scientist Professor Nawaz Kunbhar, Early Warning System In-Charge Sabir Hussain Mehr, and advocates Sunil Kumar and Hina Bugti, shared valuable insights on combating climate change.

Students from Primary School Haji Hassan Hingoro delivered impressive tableaux performances, highlighting climate change issues.

The event drew representatives from social organizations and government agencies, including Abdul Majeed Mangrio (SDF), Information Officer Abdul Majeed Rahmoo, and others.

RDF’s initiative aims to educate communities on climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies, promoting sustainable development in the region.

“Climate change is a pressing issue, and collective efforts are necessary to address its consequences,” said Professor Nawaz Kunbhar.

The seminar served as a platform for knowledge sharing, fostering collaboration among stakeholders to protect the environment and ensure a sustainable future.
