ANF Cracks Down on Drug Trafficking: 4 Arrested, Over ₹1 Crore Worth of Narcotics Seized

Islamabad, Oct.15. The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) continued its relentless drive against drug trafficking, arresting four suspects and seizing over 259.117 kilograms of narcotics worth more than ₹1 crore in the past 24 hours.
Key Arrests and Seizures:*
– Super Highway, Karachi: 1.2 kg of charas and 165 grams of ice recovered from a suspect who confessed to selling drugs to educational institution students.
– Gwadar: 252 kg of smuggled charas seized.
– Korangi, Karachi: 502 grams of heroin recovered from a suspect.
– Lahore: 4 kg of opium and 1.250 kg of intoxicating pills seized from Anarkali Bazaar; two suspects arrested.

“Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and investigations have begun.”
