Breast Cancer Awareness Session Held at KIU, Emphasizing Awareness Among Women.

Gilgit (PR) – A breast cancer awareness session was organized at the Karakoram International University (KIU). According to the university’s Public Relations Department, the session was conducted in collaboration with the Gilgit Institute of Nuclear Medicine, Oncology, and Radiotherapy (GINOR).

The session featured the Vice Chancellor of KIU, Professor Dr. Attaullah Shah, as the chief guest, alongside Dr. Asif Jilani, Director of GINOR, faculty members, management, and a large number of students.

The aim of the session was to educate students and staff about breast cancer prevention and treatment. During his address, Professor Dr. Attaullah Shah emphasized the urgent need to promote awareness and research regarding breast cancer. He highlighted the importance of early detection and the availability of affordable treatment options.

Before his address, Dr. Asif Jilani and other experts delivered lectures on the subject. The session concluded with an awareness walk focused on breast cancer.
