Qiandongnan, China, October 11, China’s Rural Tourism Highway 1 has welcomed over 25 million tourists and generated over 12 billion yuan in tourism revenue from January to August 2024, showcasing robust growth in Qiandongnan’s tourism industry.

Located in southwestern China, Qiandongnan is renowned for its ecological and cultural treasures, including Yuntai Mountain, Zhijiang Ancient Town, and Village Super League. To allow tourists to experience these gems simultaneously, China’s Rural Tourism Highway 1 was launched in September 2023, jointly by Qiandongnan Prefecture and Chinese National Geography.
