ANF Cracks Down on Drug Peddling Near Educational Institutions

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has launched a nationwide operation against drug trafficking and peddling near educational institutions. In the past 24 hours, 9 suspects, including 2 women, were arrested in 8 operations. The raids yielded over 75 kg of narcotics worth Rs. 2.5 crore.

Key seizures include:

– 1.2 kg of charras in Islamabad’s Sector I-11/3
– 9 kg of opium and 3.6 kg of charras near Islamabad Motorway Toll Plaza
– 250 grams of charras in Karachi’s Korangi area

Arrested suspects confessed to selling drugs to students. The ANF prioritizes making educational institutions drug-free.

Additional ANF operations yielded significant seizures in Islamabad, Mardan, Sheikhupura, and Hyderabad.
