Public-private partnership essential to cope with challenges of global warming, emphasizes Governor

QUETTA: The Governor Balochistan, Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has emphasized that public-partnership is essential to move ahead the public friendly policies and cope with the challenges of global warming.
He insisted that the message can be reached to every homeboy including the subject of environment in curriculum.
The Governor was speaking to a delegation who called on him under leadership of head of FDI, Ms. Uzma Yaqoob here at the Governor’s House on Thursday.
The matters about global warming and climate change were discussed in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said that the negative impacts of climate change can be reduced with cooperation of the international institutions.
He said that care of some 8,000 trees and saplings planted in the Governor House is an example worth following for environmental protection.
He assured that cooperation would remain continued for the public friendly endeavours of the Governor House as well as promotion of education and modern skills.
The Governor also said that every civilized society move ahead and promote gender equality
