SHIKARPUR: The outlaws in District Shikarpur seems more powerful than police as they gear-uped the criminal activities like Murders, Kidnapping for Ransom, Road Robberies, House Dacoities, Snatching of Vehicles, Street Crimes and other heinous offences without any fear of Police and Law enforcement Agencies here in Shikarpur.
According to initial reports reached here that Some group of armed men opened fires upon one Karachi bound Passenger coach coming from Karachi to Kandhkot at Lanjo Laaro in the Jurisdiction of Naparkot police on Thursday in early hours at Shikarpur – Kandhkot Indus Highway road.
As a result of firings, one Passenger identified as Ghulam Hyder Bahalkani of Kandhkot District was killed on the spot. While five other passengers including Azhar Ali, Farman Ali, Abdul Nabi and others received serious bullet injured.
The injured were sent to Taluka Hospital Khanpur for medical treatment and later were referred to Sukkur and Larkana Hospitals for their further medical treatment after giving them medical first aid from there.
The dead body of deceased Ghulam Hyder Bahalkani was handed over to his heirs after conducting autopsy from Taluka Hospital Khanpur.
