Gwadar Development Authority, University of Gwadar Ink Pact for Regional Development

Gwadar, October 9, 2024 – The Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) and the University of Gwadar signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to foster educational activities and promote regional development. The agreement was signed by GDA Director General Shafqat Anwar Shahwani and University of Gwadar Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Razzaq Baloch.

The partnership aims to unleash the potential of young individuals in Gwadar’s development by providing opportunities for research, training, and exhibitions. Both organizations will collaboratively organize workshops, conferences, research and development initiatives, and other activities to enhance professional skills and address regional challenges.

During his visit to the university, Shahwani was briefed on various projects, departments, and the under-construction new building. The MoU signing ceremony was a significant step towards promoting educational and professional development in Gwadar and surrounding areas. This strategic partnership is expected to have a profound impact on the region’s growth and prosperity.
