All Govt. hospitals & health centres being put on modern lines in Balochistan, says Chief Secretary

QUETTA: The Chief Secretary Balochistan, Shakeel Qadir Khan has stated that the provincial government is taking practical steps for ensuring provision of modern machinery and medicines in all government hospitals of the province so that the best healthcare facilities are available to the people.
For the purpose, all government hospitals and health centres are being put on modern lines in the province.
He directed to the concerned officials to give first preference to provide facilities and ensure implementation on the development projects setting targets.
The Chief Secretary was presiding over the meeting about development projects of health and education (schools) here on Tuesday.
The meeting reviewed progress on development schemes.
Those who were present in the meeting were included: Additional Chief Secretary Home, Shahab Ali Shah, Additional Chief Secretary Development, Hafiz Abdul Basit, Secretary Health, Saleh Muhammad Nasar, Secretary Health, Saleh Muhammad Baloch and other concerned officials.
Addressing the meeting, Chief Secretary said that the provincial government has included extremely important projects in the financial year 2024-25, which are included provision of machinery in new hospitals and missing facilities in the schools.
He said that steps are being taken for the health department as per the vision and mission of Chief Minister.
He warned that unnecessary delay would not be tolerated in completion of the public welfare projects.
He said that health and education are the priority sectors of our government and priority would be given in provision of funds for both the sectors.
