Bringing 3 million out of school children in schools big challenge for incumbent Govt, says CM

QUETTA: The Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti has stated that around three million children are out of the schools, and it is a big challenge for the present government to bring them in the schools.
He said that we have reopened the schools., which otherwise were closed for last 12 years. He said that the government is sending the children to Harward and Oxford universities, but the enemies are making them suicide bomber.
He said that no compromise would be made on merit in the government jobs. He said that no one coming outside harmed Balochistan, rather it’s own people harmed it. He stressed that every government servant would have to perform duty.
These and similar other views were expressed by the Chief Minister while addressing the ceremony of the high-level hygiene kits distribution among girl students at the Government Girls High School Jinnah Town, here on Tuesday.
The event was organized under the ‘She Power’ initiative, and also attended by the Coordinator of Prime Minister for Climate Change, Ms. Romina Khurshid Alam, Chairperson of Senate’s standing committee on Human Rights, Ms. Samina Mumtaz Zehri, Provincial Minister for Education, Ms. Rahila Hameed Khan Durrani besides other concerned officials and students.
He said that while we are facing certain challenges in education sector including that of 3 million out of school children, some 16,000 vacancies of the teachers are also vacant in the province.
He said that quality education is big thing, it is a challenge to bring the out of school children in the schools.
He on the occasion regretfully pointed out that some doctors and teachers have not been performing their duties for last 12 years. For instance, he referred to a doctor present in Canada, but has been drawing salary from the government in Balochistan.
He on the occasion exhorted the students to benefit from the government’s scholarship programme.
The Coordinator of Prime Minister for Climate Change, Ms. Rumina Khurshid Alam, Chairperson of the Senate’s standing committee on Human Rights, Ms. Samina Mumtaz Zehri, Provincial Minister for Education, Ms. Rahila Hameed Khan Durrani also addressing the ceremony.
