Gwadar, Oct. 8, Pakistan Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) has achieved a significant milestone by establishing a modern labor room in Ganz, a region previously lacking this essential facility.
According to Dr. Murshid Dashti, District Support Manager of PPHI, the new labor room is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and furniture, ensuring top-notch medical facilities for women during childbirth.
“This development will greatly benefit local women, who previously had to travel to Gwadar or other major cities for childbirth, often facing difficulties and long journeys,” Dr. Dashti stated.
The establishment of the labor room aims to:
