Islamabad, 7th October 2024: National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has strongly condemned the terror attack on a Chinese convoy in Karachi. He expressed deep sorrow over the loss of Chinese nationals and extended heartfelt condolences to their families. The Speaker also added that the People & Parliament of Pakistan firmly stood with the bereaved families of the deceased Chinese nationals at this moment of grief & sorrow.
While mentioning the deep-rooted & unwavering friendship between Pakistan & China, the Speaker said “Such heinous acts can never destabilize the strong and unbreakable ties between Pakistan and China.”
While reaffirming Pakistan’s resolve to combat terrorism he stated that the elements involved in this terror attack would not be spared.He asked the Law Enforcement Agencies to apprehend the masterminds behind this shameful and cowardly act and bring them to justice.
The Speaker also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attack.
