Islamabad, Oct 06 Federal Minister for State and Frontier Regions, Amir Muqam, has strongly condemned the violent protests led by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), terming them as “anti-state” and aimed at creating chaos and instability.
Muqam accused PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur of playing a key role in inciting violence, saying his actions were reminiscent of a “villain”.
“The PTI’s agenda, driven by Imran Khan, is a threat to national security and stability,” Muqam stated. “Their attempts to create bloodshed and mayhem have been thwarted by the professionalism and restraint shown by our security agencies.”
The Federal Minister praised the security agencies for their calm and composed handling of the situation, despite provocations. He regretted the loss of life and injuries suffered by security personnel, including the martyrdom of a constable.
The nation is grateful for the sacrifices made by our security forces in maintaining law and order,” Muqam said. “We will not allow anti-state elements to disrupt peace and stability.”
Muqam’s statement comes after PTI’s protests turned violent, resulting in:
– Clashes with security forces
– Imposition of Section 144 in Islamabad
– Injury to multiple security personnel
– Damage to public property

The government has vowed to maintain order and ensure the rule of law.
