Lahore (PR): These views were expressed by the Ameer of Tanzeem-e-Islami, Shujauddin Shaikh, in a statement. The Ameer noted that according to statistics reported in the media, more than 42,000 Muslims in Gaza have embraced shahadah due to continuous brutal bombings since 7 October 2023, the majority of whom are women and children. Nearly one hundred thousand have been severely injured. A large number of homes, mosques, hospitals, schools, and refugee camps in Gaza have been destroyed, forcing about 85% of the population to live under the open sky. There is a severe shortage of basic necessities of life. Despite these dire circumstances, the Mujahideen and ordinary Muslims of Gaza have stood as a solid wall against the Zionists, reviving the memory of the glorious past of the Muslims. Whether it is the leaders of the resistance movement or the Muslim masses of Gaza, everyone has refused to bow before the tyranny of Israel and has made momentous sacrifices to protect Al-Aqsa Mosque. The truth is that Israel, which has the complete backing of the United States, most Western European countries, and India, is not only bent on the genocide of Muslims in Gaza but has also demonstrated through its attacks on Lebanon and Yemen that it wishes to escalate war. To further its evil agenda of Greater Israel, it is aiming to plunge the world into a large-scale war. The Ameer stated that the events of the past year have also proven that all international and regional institutions, including the United Nations, have completely lost their remaining credibility and efficacy. Muslim countries must understand that no international institution will protect the rights and freedom of Muslims; rather, they must unite to halt the oppressor and assist the oppressed. It is imperative that we recognize our individual and collective mistakes and genuinely repent. We should turn to Allah (SWT) and unite to take practical measures against all tyrannical forces, including Israel, so that the dignity and honor of Muslims may be restored in the world and they could become eligible for success in the Hereafter.
