In a daring nighttime operation, law enforcement agencies joined forces to conduct an intelligence-based raid in the Charbagh area of Swat District on the night of October 4-5, 2024. The operation resulted in the elimination of two terrorists, including the notorious ring leader Atta Ullah, also known as Mehran, following an intense exchange of fire. One terrorist was apprehended in an injured condition.
Atta Ullah @ Mehran was reportedly involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region, including the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast that targeted a police vehicle escorting foreign dignitaries in Swat on September 22, 2024.
Security forces, in collaboration with law enforcement agencies, are now conducting a thorough sanitization of the area to eradicate any remaining terrorists and wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
